We went shopping for some new ornaments...
and picked out the very best tree at Home Depot.
Andrew helped Jason string the lights.
Then we decorated it while listening to Christmas music.
Andrew helped hook most of the ornaments all by himself.
His favorite part of the whole night, as any little boy's would be, was climbing on the step ladder.
When the tree was done, he took a break with Daddy...
and pretended to sleep...
then decided Mommy wasn't going to stop taking pictures until he smiled a few good smiles.
Then Daddy pretended to be asleep...
and Andrew got bored...
and goofy.
After Andrew was nestled all snug in his bed, I took pictures of a few of my favorite decorations.

Then I decided the dogs are past due for some pictures... it's been a few months.
Ollie checked out the tree and discovered the water in the base, but hasn't bothered it much since the first night.
And then there was a failed attempt to get them both together in front of the tree.
Much better...
A little sibling rivalry...
Kiss and make up...
Jason probably wondered if I was ever going to put my camera down.
And I did... until the next morning, because Andrew looked SO cute dressed for school.
He knows he's cute.
GOSH, I love that face.
While he was at school, I put together some goodies for his class Christmas party.
When Andrew got home, he played with some of the Christmas decorations in his room. A few of "his" things were mine when I was his age.
After dinner, the three of us tried miserably to build, ice and decorate a gingerbread house. There really should be a disclaimer on the box that says product requires patience.
It all started falling apart.
And those were just the last three days. We have so many more things planned this month and I'm sure there will be many picture updates to go along. We hope everyone is having as much fun as we are!
