Where the Wild Things Are

We took Andrew to see Where the Wild Things Are on Sunday night and though he coughed and sniffed and sneezed through the whole movie, he LOVED it! Jason and I were afraid it might be too "grown up" for him (some of the reviews claimed it's targeted more toward the adults who grew up with the popular story book). There were some "slow" parts that lost Andrew's attention for a few seconds here and there, but he loved all the wild rumpus! He especially loved the parts of the movie that were parallels to his book. He talked out loud through the whole movie saying "he's chasing his dog with a fork!" or "he's on his private boat" or "he's wearing my costume!" It was really cute to see his reactions to all of the different scenes.







I overheard him earlier today reading the story to Logan. It was so cute! Here he is re-reading it for the camera...
